I’m turning 30 in just two short weeks.
With that, I figured now is as good time as any to jump on the self-care & self-love bandwagon. Or rather, its a good time to stick to it. I’ve done whole30s, I work out regularly, but I don’t always do these things consistently or sometimes I struggle with balance. I’m guilty of letting a bad day at work affect my productivity when I get home, or a bad week at work throw off my healthy eating habits for days. I sometimes want to reward myself with food or sweatpants immediately when I get home, and I shouldn’t.
So far in 2017, I’ve been attacking each day with more intent & purpose, I try to say “no” with more ease when it comes to things I don’t want to do, and I try to say “yes” with more ease when it comes to doing things for myself. A couple of things that have helped me along the way: …
