The holidays tend to come with a ton of excitement but also a lot of eating, stress, and also stress eating. It’s no secret that I’ve been using this past year trying to really hone in self-care without the misconception of treating myself in all of the unhealthy ways. One of the things that has been the most difficult given the industry I work in, is trying to find a better work/life balance… leaving the stress at the office, actually leaving the office at a decent time, and trying to make the best of my time away from the office. When I took a meditation workshop with Allison of and be well, I left that Saturday morning to several missed emails and texts from work. While this is not the end of the world when you love your job, it’s still a little hard to step back and stay grounded when you’re constantly working. I realized then that one of her workshops would be so beneficial to all of the women on my team and I wanted to help introduce them to the same things that are helping me in my life….
