Oh, hi there. It’s been a while. We went to Seattle. It was great. I have a ton of photos to share. We ate a lot of food. We walked a lot. I mentally started planning our completely-made-up-in-my-mind move out west.
Then we came home and life got crazy. We got an awesome new apartment. Brand new, complete with a marble kitchen island, which is what I imagine dreams are made of. Then we backed out. We went from city-living to suburbia hell in just a couple of weeks as we work through some life curveballs. Can someone teach me (us) how to use a big fancy grill? I am clueless. Maybe you know how to strip a baby blue deck? Come on over.
It took a few (or a lot) of long days and nights for me to realize that no matter how crazy life gets, it’s still important to slow down and enjoy some quite time to ourselves. With a lot of coffee.
That’s my burst of optimism for the day, probably week. Sometimes cheesy eggs, coffee, and sunshine can work wonders.
