oh hey, early bird biscuit
Somewhat of a little throwback to what used to be a weekly thing. It’s been a while, as in 2015, since I’d done a five things Friday post, but I decided that this has been quite a week and that maybe a little brain dump of sorts would be good for the soul. After searching my old posts, I can’t believe that I used to write about 5 topics – with a list of 5 things for EACH. You guys, that’s a lot. I now present to you the new & improved, five things I either like, love, or just want to share for some other unknown reason. And also because it’s not even Friday anymore, rules don’t apply.
My oldest niece is turning three in a week and I can’t really be the only one who struggles with finding a birthday gift for tiny humans?
I finished my first book from the library, The Art of Racing in the Rain, (in less than 2 days, a win for me) and it was SO DAMN GOOD.
I am obsessed with my Madewell tote, but for some upcoming trips, I really feel like I need this bag and the other person in my house doesn’t understand why.
I can’t believe wedding season is just around the corner and I feel like I need to do a 2 or 3 day juice cleanse before it begins, but I just bought the best romper to wear to a wedding in a few weeks. It felt significantly less stressful than finding a good dress, and the material slightly resembles my pajamas, which is perfect considering the food will be a taco truck. I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to be a wedding guest before.
Michael and I saw The Zookeeper’s Wife in theaters and it was way more intense than I was prepared for. I wanted to read the book first but he didn’t want to wait 2 years for me to finish (can’t blame him) but I’m surprised that I still want to read it after watching the movie. Also, can someone tell me why its 2017 and people still don’t have manners in a theater?
Charlie got a backpack recently and it makes me laugh every single time he wears it.
Have a lovely weekend!
