Yes… a favorite bowl. Can that be a thing? Because I have one. My friend Beth surprised me at work with this beautiful bowl that she made and if I could frame it, put in a bubble, and just keep it safe forever, I would. (Beth also made the pottery that I was bragging about in my sunroom here and I wish she could share some of talents with me.) Out of all of the bowls in my kitchen, this one is my favorite (and seriously, I have a lot of dishes because I have no self control in Anthropologie). But this one! It’s so big! It’s perfect and I couldn’t wait to use it for breakfast the next day.
Why you so pretty?
I used to make oatmeal every single day and I somehow fell out of that routine but now that fall & cold mornings are here, it’s the perfect excuse to get back into it. And to have chocolate chips for breakfast. Yes, go on…
My favorite punkin’ oats
1 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup (or so) of water, just enough to cover the oats
1 heaping tablespoon of canned pumpkin
1/2 tbs white chocolate chips
1 tbs. chia seeds
1/2 tbs. hemp seeds
1-2 tbs. white chocolate peanut butter
1. Combine water, oats & pumpkin in your favorite bowl, heat for 1 minute in the microwave. Remove & stir.
2. Combine the rest of the ingredients, stir & enjoy 🙂
I’m no food expert, or even a food blogger, but I can make a mean bowl of oatmeal. I can have my own cooking show now, right?
