We ended the week with tacos, a bowl of guac the size of my head, and crying my face off after watching the Fault in Our Stars. Regardless, it will still be one of my favorite nights ever.
Saturday morning started with a trip to the farmer’s market… just because it’s cute apparently. We walked around with breakfast and coffee before leaving empty handed since the flowers I wanted were sold out and I had no idea what vegetables to get since I had no intentions of cooking anytime soon. It was still nice to walk around and window (tent?) shop and prove to myself that I have the self-control not to get a dozen of Mrs. Yoder’s donuts.
Oktoberfest was this weekend so Saturday night, we walked there for some brats & beers. I’m a sucker for a good street festival, and I love that we are in walking distance to so many of the good ones here in Richmond. I’m not a huge beer fan, and I’m definitely not a German beer drinker, but part of the fun in going to this festival is getting the stein for the year, so I sipped on two beers over the course of three hours and ate a brat the size of my head.
Here’s to another Monday… with temperatures in the 70s! And PSA – Ryan Adam’s 1989 cover is now on Spotify for freeeeeee. You’re welcome!
