We stopped for lunch at a cute little market, where I paid $9 for the smallest salad in the history of salads. Luckily, I’m a sucker for cute things & for eating outdoors, so having the little market to wander around while we waited for our food and the bistro tables outside made it worth it. And the salad turned out to pretty good after all!
After cleaning up, I met her later for a dinner date at the Daily. The brussels sprouts. I have no words. I could eat them everyday if I could. It was an amazing dinner with even better company and I loved being able to hang out with her all weekend.
The rest of the weekend was spent poolside or working before I got in the kitchen to make Michael dinner before he landed late on Sunday. Being in the kitchen helped me control my excitement over picking him up from the airport. 🙂 And its stuffed peppers for his lunches this week while I wrap up my last couple of days on whole30! Let’s do this, Monday.
